PRESS RELEASE
On Monday March 3, 2008, at 12:47am, a burglary occurred at the Premier Mini-Mart located at 501 W. Main St. in Mount Horeb.
The suspect(s) broke a large front window to gain access to the building. Numerous cartons of cigarettes were stolen with a total value of over $1,500.
The investigation into this case is on-going. If you have any information about this crime, please leave a message on the Mount Horeb Police Department Tip Line at 437-5524 extension 5. Callers can remain anonymous.
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REGARDING SEX OFFENDERS
Due to the recent sexual assault crimes and abductions that have occurred around the nation, the Mount Horeb Police Department has been receiving telephone calls from concerned citizens requesting information on registered sex offenders living in and around the Village of Mount Horeb.
To obtain information on registered sex offenders living in the State of Wisconsin you can visit Wisconsin's Sex Offender Registry at www.offender.doc.state.wi.us/public.
To obtain information on missing children, you can visit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at http://www.missingkids.com/.
