VILLAGE OF MOUNT HOREB
WINTER PARKING REGULATIONS
The Village of Mount Horeb residents are reminded that winter parking regulations go into effect in the village on December 1, 2007 and continue in effect until March 31, 2008.
On even numbered days of the month, vehicles may be properly parked between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on even building numbered side of the street.
On odd numbered days of the month, vehicles may be properly parked between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the odd building numbered side of the street.
DOWNTOWN PARKING PROHIBITED: No person shall park a vehicle in any municipal parking lot or on either side of any of the following public streets in the village between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. during the months of December, January, February or March:
There are some exceptions for cul-de-sacs and areas where there is only parking allowed on one side of the street.
If payment of a parking ticket is not made within the first 48 hours, a warning letter will be sent via mail. This notice will indicate that payment will need to be made within seven days. In addition, if payment is not received within the first 48 hours, $5.00 parking tickets will increase to $12.00 and $10.00 parking tickets will increase to $20.00. If payment is not made within the seven-day time frame, the vehicle registration will be suspended, privileges to register any vehicle in the State of Wisconsin will be denied, and an administrative fee will be assessed.
