Second Annual Awards Ceremony

Each year the Mount Horeb Police Department will recognize the outstanding achievements of its officers and those citizens who display acts above and beyond those expected by the public and the department.
On May 17, 2007, the second annual award ceremony was conducted for these acts by Chief Scott Sterland. Below are photographs of the event. Please join the Mount Horeb Police Department in congratulating the recipients of these awards.
Mt. Horeb resident Stephen Penne is presented the Citizen Award by Chief Sterland for his assistance in apprehending a suspect.

Officer Jon Orcutt is presented the Life Saving Award for his efforts in reviving a local citizen.
